North Tyneside World Mental Health Day Event 2023

AIM is a member of a planning group responsible for organising North Tyneside’s World Mental Health Day Celebration Event, which takes place on Tuesday 10th October 2023 at The Crescent Club, 1 Victoria Crescent, Cullercoats, NE30 4P. The event is free for anyone to attend and we work hard to keep costs down as much as possible. However, we need cash donations to cover volunteers’ expenses, flyer/poster printing costs, activities as well as refreshments and lunch for people who will be attending our event Thank you in advance for your contribution to this cause that means so much to the planning group.

AIM's object is to enable and empower the local community to address all issues surrounding mental health in an effort to tackle discrimination and to reduce the stigma felt by people with mental health problems.

AIM furthers this object by: campaigning, sharing ideas and good practice around mental health activities; focusing awareness on positive images of mental health; providing for educational activities; working with media to reinforce positive mental health images and challenge negative messages.
